Norma Krieger is a Pratt Institute graduate and as curator has spent decades using the power of art to enhance the lives of many, providing visionary strategic leadership to galleries, academic and cultural institutions, community organizations and corporate industries. She lives and works in New York where she is the principal of the Krieger Creative Group (KCG), a fine-art acquisition agency representing visual artists. The educational component of KCG, is the BROOKLYN | ART SALON where Norma serves as its owner and curator. The art salon is a private gallery hosting exhibitions, featuring distinctive works of art, film showings, book signings, presenting forums and gatherings of art aesthetics conversations to help foster the exchange of creative ideas.

Norma was recently appointed as the founding Chair of Pratt Institute’s first NYC Alumni Chapter. She is a member of the NWPC-NYC, (National Women’s Political Caucus) and is a USVI (United States Virgin Islands Tourism Ambassador.

She is a former senior art buyer, print producer and corporate gallery curator for the legendary Madison Avenue Advertising Agency, Ogilvy & Mather (O&M), New York. There Norma produced large complex, print production projects worldwide on major brands such as IBM and American Express. Additionally, she has designed and taught undergraduate and graduate courses at such academic institutions as RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Pratt Institute graduate school.

As the author and photographer, of a collection of (3) published books entitled “VISIONS: St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, 1700s to Present”, Norma is the first contemporary photographer to produce elegant and compelling sepia tone fine art of St. Croix reflective of the romantic daguerreotype film aesthetic of the early 1840s.

In addition to her St. Croix publications, Norma recently created and curated an exclusive new travel experience, the “St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands History & Art Tour”, bringing delegations of (15) or more N.Y. professionals to the island. This unique tour is an in-depth introduction to the history and visual arts in St. Croix.
