Ivy Brown Gallery presents Angelica Bergamini’s Conscious

Sunday, October 2nd, 2016

Ivy Brown Gallery is pleased to present Angelica Bergamini’s first solo New York exhibition Conscious. This exhibit will feature three bodies of Bergamini’s vibrant, mixed media work: Know Thyself, Memento and Freedom.

Angelica’s multi-layered works are informed by her ongoing efforts to create a less reactive and more responsive presence in the world. They act as the muse to meditations on the many facets of surrender, empowerment, reverence, and love that exist in ourselves, and in our relation to a greater whole.

Meet the artist reception on Thursday, October 6th 5-7pm

Exhibition is on-going and closes October 31st

Fiumano Projects presents ‘Outside In’, Photography, Installation & Video by artist Nicole Wassall from 10th to 14th  April.

About ‘Outside In’

We are used to the term ‘inside out’ so automatically know what is meant. However, we don’t use ‘outside in’ (which has the same basic meaning) as often so our brain has to do something slightly different to understand what is implied. It processes the information differently with different parts of the brain. And incredibly many people can actually feel that difference.  It is this type of juggling with intuition that characterizes the work in the exhibition ‘Outside in’ by Nicole Wassall, in what is described as ‘Neuroart’. The essence of which is the re-sculpting of the way our representations acquire meaning and power, balanced on an understanding of neuroscience. Where an understanding of what we experience and how we react is based on what neuroscience reveals is happening in our brain at a neuro level. For more information click here. presents ‘audio video’, an exhibition dedicated to artists’ moving image (5-29 July)
