Monday, April 8th, 2019

Abigail Ogilvy Ryan is a gallerist and curator who recently moved to Geneva, Switzerland, with her flagship gallery still currently located in Boston, MA. Since opening Abigail Ogilvy Gallery in 2015, she been dedicated to her mission of presenting thought-provoking, engaging exhibitions that present ideas or topics that are not well-represented in the Boston area. Her passion for matching clients with artwork began after her first experience working in two contemporary art galleries in Florence, Italy in 2010. Growing up in a household of educators, Abigail is drawn to the pursuit of educating her audience and collectors about contemporary art and her artists. Abigail also collaborates with nonprofits and educational organizations on auctions, events, and exhibitions that aim to give back to the community. She has supported an annual exhibition to fundraise and promote Artists For Humanity, a Boston arts non-profit which seeks to bridge the socio-economic divisions that currently exists in Boston. Abigail looks forward to expanding her gallery opportunities within the European art market.
