On the Rocks at Susan Eley Fine Art

Susan Eley Fine Art is delighted to announce the opening of “ON THE ROCKS”, their first juried exhibition, on Wednesday, June 26 with a reception for the artists from 6-8 pm. The exhibition will remain on view through August 29.

The gallery was thrilled to receive hundreds of works of art from around the world. The final selection is comprised of 64 artworks by 54 artists, 38 of whom have never exhibited at SEFA. The artists hail from the US, Canada and Spain, and will be represented by painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, textile and collage, in materials including oil, acrylic, cardboard, wood and fiber, watercolor, sumi ink, gouache, graphite, brick, soapstone, wood and more. Anderson Contemporary presents ART ONE8o

ART ONE80 is a culmination of Anderson Contemporary’s mission to showcase an inventive and eclectic group of visionary artists, generating conversation that encourages engagement in their stories, techniques and mediums. 

The exhibition will merge contrasting subjects such as physics and art via quantum sculptures, traditional painting versus digital, lenticular photography, graffiti, and paint-injected bubble wrap, as well as contemporary dance and meditation, animation film and VR experiences. 

The exhibition runs from Thursday April 26th – June 30th.

Susan Eley Fine Art presents ‘Humanity in Pixels and Stone’, Digital Paintings by Gary Kaleda (whose work Dialog is shown here courtesy of Susan Eley) and Sculptures by Lilian R. Engel, an exhibition that opens on 8th January.

The exhibition will run until 19th February and will feature a talk with Collector Michael Spalter, Chairman of the Board of RISD who will discuss his collection, one of the world’s largest, private, early digital art collections, amassed with his wife, artist, author, educator Anne Morgan Spalter.
