Nature as Mind; Mind as Nature is a curated show bringing together a number of international and UK artists represented by Four Square Fine Arts. The exhibition shows an exciting and diverse range of work from artists observing, questioning and reflecting on the natural world. In a climate of environmental uncertainty, nature is often portrayed as a threatening force to be controlled and subjugated. Yet as science remaps our understanding of reality, with huge discoveries in all areas of science it reveals an infinitely more complex web of connections and interdependence – a world where we are inextricably woven into the texture of nature and indeed the whole universe with an implicit responsibility to the world we inhabit – our home.

Sonia Crivello established Four Square Fine Arts in 2002 in order to represent contemporary visual artists from the UK, and more recently from USA and Europe. Her early experience in the world of textiles is reflected in the artists she represents, being particularly drawn to abstract work and mixed media. She now acts as an agent for around twenty artists by putting on curated exhibitions in London and Sussex, by attending major art fairs and presenting work by appointment to corporate and private clients. For any questions, contact Four Square Fine Arts.

One of the artists represented by Four Square Fine Arts is Alinah Azadeh, a British-Iranian artist with a background in painting, new media and video. Since her MA in Media Arts Practice at Westminster University (2001), she has created installations that combine textile media with texts and networked technology.
