VanDeb Editions and Lax & Associates are exhibiting at E/AB Art Fair (5-8/Nov)

VanDeb Editions and Lax & Associates will be exhibiting at theEditions / Artists’ Book Fair (E/AB Fair) that is taking place November 5 – 8 during New York’s Print Week, to coincide with IFPDA’s Print Fair, and dozens of special exhibitions, talks, and workshops throughout the city. E/AB Fair has been New York’s premier showcase for the discovery of new and contemporary prints, multiples, and artists’ books. Rebecca Lax of Lax & Associates joined AWAD earlier this month and she has been dealing contemporary prints for twenty-five years. Her early experience in the production and fabrication side of print publishing for several major print shops in NYC lends a more in-depth approach and knowledge to the market. Lax will be showing a selection of prints including ‘Kiss’ a work by Juliette Jacquette (shown above courtesy of Lax & Associates) and is part of a suite of four ‘To Kiss Your Lips’.

Marjorie VanDyke and Deborah Freedman founded Van Deb Editions in 1999. Since then they have worked with 36 artists publishing over 125 editions. They began their association at Robert Blackburn’s Printmaking Workshop in 1987, sharing a passionate interest in etching and monotype. Working with master printer Marjorie VanDyke, painters, architects, sculptors and filmmakers explore the process of making prints, extending an opportunity for them to expand their aesthetic vocabulary.

Van Deb Editions  is committed to producing artwork of the highest integrity and superlative production values.

VanDeb Editions and Accola Griefen announce W2, Works x Women during Women’s History Month (1-30 April)

VanDeb Editions and Accola Griefen are pleased to announce W2, Works x Women, a collaborative exhibition which will be on view from April 1 through April 30th, 2015 in the Lobby of the Standard Motors Building at 36-18 Northern Boulevard, Long Island City, NY. The reception will be held on April 2 from 6pm to 8pm.

Every year Marjorie Van Dyke and Deborah Freedman host a show in honor of Women’s History Month, which this year they are celebrating in April with the exhibition, W2, Works x Women. The exhibition includes works by artists that Kat Griefen and Kristen Accola selected from VanDeb’s program and artists VanDeb chose from those that Accola Griefen has worked with in recent years.
