Wednesday, April 9th, 2014

Modern Art Buyer are delighted to welcome Charles Emerson to their portfolio. Recently selected as one of the top ten emerging artists by the founder of the Affordable Art Fair, Will Ramsay, and he was  chosen by The Editors for their CD cover, t-shirts and website. Modern Art Buyer wanted to start this year with a bang and what better way than to welcome an accomplished new artist to the Modern ArtBuyer portfolio – Chuck Elliott. Chuck’s practice is a fluid investigation of colour, movement and light. Entirely computer generated, free form shapes are cropped, recoloured and enhanced to create these dazzling artworks. Hovering between printmaking and photography, these pure colour fields retain a clarity that belies the source. We’re thrilled to be showcasing Chuck’s extraordinary work.

Modern Art Buyer are delighted to introduce printmaker Rebecca King. Rebecca’s work focuses on cosmopolitan spaces within the modern world, exploring converging cultures and shifting identities. The constant state of change and flux within today’s cities is represented in her work, through a wave of abstracted shapes and lights over urban landscapes.

Vibrant and energetic, her images are produced as a series of prints with laser cut shapes and glitter glazes. Click here to find more images and details of Rebecca’s prints.
