AWAD’s NYC Chapter Meeting hosted by Mayson Gallery during Pop Up at 98 Orchard Street

This week both AWAD Chapters, NYC and London had their respective monthly Members’ meetings kindly hosted during exhibitions organised by Lisa Norris in London and Ronni Anderson in New YorkClick here for information on the AWAD London Chapter Meeting at the Lisa Norris Gallery.

Ronni Anderson who joined AWAD last month runs Mayson Gallery and her pop up exhibit at 98 Orchard Street, HEROES WANTED, closes today. Click here for more information. The pictures in this post correspond to the AWAD NYC meeting that included an interesting talk on branding by Julie Cottineau of BrandTwist.

AWAD’s NYC Chapter is led by Susie Eley of Susan Eley Fine Art and Lisa Cooper of Elisa Contemporary Art who appear in the picture above next to Ronni Anderson, Julie Cottineau and her colleague Jean Carucci, and AWAD’s CEO Susan Mumford who was in New York for Armoury week.

Ten AWAD members exhibiting this weekend at the Affordable Art Fair in Hampstead, London

Ten of the members of AWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, can be found this weekend at the Affordable Art Fair in Hampstead including Dallas-based Decorazon Gallery, BleachBox Gallery, a photography specialist, One Church Street, based in Great Missenden, Curious Duke Gallery showing UK rising surrealist and urban artists and DegreeArt who specialise in identify emerging talent. Also present are some of our most established gallerists Portal Painters, Linda Blackstone, Fiumano Fine Art and Cynthia Corbett as well as one of our newest members Alicia David Contemporary Art.



AWAD is proud to announce that Nadia Echiguer and Patricia Cornish are now Associate Members of AWAD

AWAD, the Association of Women Art Dealers, is proud to announce that Nadia Echiguer and Patricia Cornish are now Associate Members of AWAD.

London-based Nadia Echiguer runs Moroccan Fine Art, a business she launched in 2012 to promote the diverse artistic talent emerging from Morocco to a wider audience, both in the UK and internationally. In 2014 Moroccan Fine Art has hosted three exhibitions in London and participated in the Marrakech Biennale. Moroccan Fine Art is currently presenting the work of street artist CEET in Connaught Street. Click here for more details.

Patricia Cornish, who is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, joined AWAD while she was based in the UK and has since established Galeria Patricia Cornish, a leading gallery presenting British contemporary artists as well as Modern British Masters to Brazilian collectors. Patricia was recently featured in a popular Brazilian publication (a detail of which is shown above).
